Mummsy and Bubby came to our house for a Labor Day BBQ tonight! That was so fun to be with them! :) Happy Labor Day to all!

Greg's Team Was Called The "Super Villians". Poor Greggy Couldn't Think Of Any Costume to Wear For His Character: "Captain Cold". Oh Well.

This was a delicious breakfast place in downtown St. George



This is in Tuacan, St. George.

Way to go Greg! He did a relay with 11 teammates. They started out near Cedar City, UT and ended in St. George, UT. The team ran a total of 188 miles, which took about 25 hours! Wow! Wow! (Each person ran about 15 miles.) Crazy! We were also amazed at how gorgeous St. George really is! It should be called St. Gorgeous! haha :)

Dara came all the way from New York to help throw the shower! What a great friend! Love her! She gave the baby the cutest little outfits! So thoughtful!! She is enjoying the 3rd week of being married to Doug! :)

Happy 5th Anniversary

We celebrated it by going to Sundance. It's so breath taking there.

We rode the lift and ate dinner. So fun. Marriage is the opposite of milk...it gets MUCH better as it ages. :) We're so excited to meet the little one inside my tum tum. The 7 month mark is this Thursday, July 30th! Hip Hip Hooray She is moving a lot and growing quickly :)

Dara's Wedding

Dara has been one of my bestest friends, ever since we were in the 7th grade. Dara asked me to be in her wedding. Greggy came with me and was such a great support all weekend. It was an incredible wedding weekend. We're SOOO happy for her and Doug. We weren't able to steel a picture of them, but they looked so happy and so fabulous! They are a beautiful couple and SO in love!

4th of July Week

East Texas

Love east Texas! What's better? We got to see the Rangers play and win!

Float on the lake and just pretty much get in and out of the water, lay out and eat junk food for a week. It's my favorite place in the world! It was so much fun spendin' quality time with my side of the fam.

QUESTION

Can you paint the inside of your house when you're pregnant? I painted my hallway a month ago and painted my front room yesterday. I kept the windows open but there wasn't any wind. It was latex paint. I fell asleep with a little paint on my hands. Should I be worried????? I'm freaking out a bit!

My Dad's 56th Bday!

Grammy (my Dad's mom) always makes him a peach upside down cake for his birthday. It's tradition!
Dad, Chris, and Greg. Greg had an awesome time cycling with Chris and Dad on Saturday. Chris is a cycling and triathlon coach who is so awesome that his last name is on my Dad's shirt! :) I'm not kiddin'.

Growing hair out, time. I've been trying to grow it out since July. It takes forever when your hair stylists chop it off every time you ask for a "trim". From now on, I'm having them cut it when it's dry so they can't do any fancy business!

Hello Folks,
How are ya? Well, I uploaded a bunch of pics from my camera, so I thought I'd post the latest and greatest. Hope everyone is doing great. Greg's jobs are going well. I am working part time and 22 weeks along now. (5 months). (We all met at Greg's parent's house to surprise his Dad for his 60th birthday!).

By the way, we found out that we're going to have a girl! :)  We are super excited!  She is due in October.  So exciting! :) 

"Skullet" of the Month

I just read that this is actually called a skullet.  I had never heard of that, and it's always interesting to learn a new terminology in the wonderful world of mullets!

Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! It's official! He handed them his name on a slip of paper, they announced it, we screamed, he walked and they handed him the case to his diploma! Wooohoo!
PS If it looks like I have a little bit of a gut, you would be incorrect. I have a kind of BIG gut, that is carrying a little shnookems! :) I am four months along! :) Hooray! We are very grateful and excited.

New Jobs

Howdy! It has been a while since we posted. Hope you are all doing great. Things on this front are going well. We both have new jobs and are enjoying them. I still work 3 mornings a week with adults who have special needs; helping them get ready for work and helping them to reach their goals. They're really good people. I also massage one day a week from home. I was enjoying work, but wanted to have a little social outlet, so I decided to work at a day spa. :) It's really social, so I have a good time there. I also get to do some massage when they need me. It's really fun.
Greg was just hired as a personal trainer and triathlete coach. We are so excited for him. He really loves it. He'll do a great job. Plus, he gets to wear workout clothes to work. How cool is that

Mission Memories

Tonight my (Abbey's) Mom and Dad came over and we ate dinner and watched a great Sunday movie. It's called "Errand of Angels". It was so awesome 0f them to make the effort to come hang out with us. I love em' to pieces. I did my second or third crock pot meal ever and it turned out okay. The chicken was good but the rest of it was a little watered down. Dad was nice and ate the whole thing. On the other hand, the movie we watched was really good. Errand of Angels is a movie about sister missionaries. I recommend it. It was very realistic. The only things that I would add are: laughing your head off with your companion over really dumb things that you would have never found funny before you were a missionary, more tracting, more hugs and more tears. I'm so grateful for the experiences and further conversion I had While serving a mission :) [Picture: This was the first door I knocked on as a missionary.] My companion was not impressed with how softly I knocked on the door. She told me to "Knock like the Church is true!" I never forgot that :)

Greg was also able to serve a mission and he loved it! He had many wonderful experiences as well.

Christmas 2008

The holidays were a splendid time for us this year. Abbey and I spent some time in Sacramento, followed by a few days in Park City with her family. You might be wondering, why the scholarly fairy Santa? This is one of many, that flutter their way into Abbey's mother's home during Christmas time. We think highly of these hybrid wonders.

These curious fairies really know how to stare you down.

We went home to my parents this year in Sacramento. On one of the days, we traveled to San Francisco. It was the first time Abbey and I took a ride on the trolley. Ding, Ding.

We left Sacramento and spent the remainder of the holidays in Park City. On New Years Day we skied at Deer Valley, where the conditions were perfect.
