The holidays were a splendid time for us this year. Abbey and I spent some time in Sacramento, followed by a few days in Park City with her family. You might be wondering, why the scholarly fairy Santa? This is one of many, that flutter their way into Abbey's mother's home during Christmas time. We think highly of these hybrid wonders.

These curious fairies really know how to stare you down.
We went home to my parents this year in Sacramento. On one of the days, we traveled to San Francisco. It was the first time Abbey and I took a ride on the trolley. Ding, Ding.
We left Sacramento and spent the remainder of the holidays in Park City. On New Years Day we skied at Deer Valley, where the conditions were perfect.

wow you guys are all geared up in the last shot...except for the gloves weren't your little fingers freezing?
I have seen those hybrid elf fairies...I bought a small one this year, and he was Santa's Elf that stayed frozen during the day and watched the kids, then at night he would return to Santa and report. Each morning he would be in a different spot, and sometimes he brought a treat.
SF looked like a good time. I can hear the seals bark, and smell the salty air. The Candy Baron? Who ever heard of such a store. And I thought "Captain Candy" from Barbie and Nutcracker was strange.
