Christmas In Sacramento

We were so fortunate to spend Christmas with both of our families...

(Sacramento with Greg's Fam; then Utah with my side)

Here's some pics of our adventure :)

G-ma and Baby Kate. They had so much fun together. Gma's house is so kid-friendly! Toys, books, bath toys and a pack n play. Not to mention their dog, Buddy! He was one of Kate's favorite things about the trip! She was a little overwhelmed when she first met him, but within a couple of days, she was giving him his doggy treat and petting him.

The Chef and her assistant. Muz is an AWESOME cook. I always learn some cool new tricks from her, whenever I'm with her. She and Food Network are my mentors :)

Maybe if I get really good at cooking, I can also get "granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a gas range".

(I put it in quotes b/c I think all of those phrases belong to HGTV. I don't want to be charged with plagiarism.)

I love Kate in this picture.
This was the first time for her to wear jeans! This outfit was from Gma and Gpa for Christmas!

Christmas Morning...

2 words: Cinnamon Leaves
Explanation: Cinnamon leaves are a family recipe. They're made with handmade dough, rolled in butter, cinnamon, and sugar...then baked to perfection! It's a Christmas tradition. I know it was SOOO much work for Muz, but we all were dying over them! Thank you Muzzy! :)

Here's a sneak peak of the most incredible cinnamon treats I've ever had.

I passed out because they were so good.

They were so amazing, that my eyes literally shut for over a minute. It was as if my body couldn't take so many senses at once. I just had to focus on taste for the moment...

Then I fell over.

Muzzy and Kate looking at the neighbor's Christmas lights. Kate loved the snow globes and music.

Me, Grandpa Great (Greg's Grandpa), Gpa (Greg's Dad), and Baby Kate...Greg taking the picture...Muz at home baking. We went for a walk one night and had a lovely time. :) So cozy outside...we loved to see all of the Christmas lights.

The little snow bunny. I really love the fuzzy tassels on her boots :)

Check out the back of Kate's hoodie. Yes, that is a snowman's face.

One of the days, we went to Apple Hill. We HAD to. It's tradition. It was a beautiful day. Probably the warmest it's ever been.. This is one of our favorite places in California. Fresh Apples and everything that could possibly be made from Apples. I loved the cold apple cider! This was Kate's first taste of an apple donut. I think she liked it!

Gpa is such a cute Grandpa. She loves you, Gpa! Thanks for all of the time you spent with us. We had the best time :)! And thank you SO much for everything!
